SILVER LAKE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (COMMUNICATIONS + BRAND VALUE)
One of the most unique chambers around, the SLCC needed to capitalize on its cool factor and deepen its brand value among membership. Sarah worked with the chamber to develop a coordinated media strategy, part of which included guiding the vision for the 2012 annual member directory with The Think Farm by updating the template and incorporating graphic illustrations of local business owners. Sarah led the branding, framework and strategic plan for a Member to Member program that offers specials and discounts within membership. Finally, she created a Member Profile Project that incorporated a Proust-like questionnaire (allowing featured members to playfully share a mix of personal and business facts) and shot personality-driven portraits of members at work. All of these projects not only helped create more awareness of the chamber’s businesses, but also helped foster a greater sense of community among membership.
