Sarah McGowan Dear is a business consultant and copy director with a degree in Social Psychology.

Driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of creative thinking, Sarah offers her clients the opportunity dream, explore and learn how to turn a great idea into successful enterprise. She develops business, brand and social media strategy, as well as advertising copy and concepts for real estate, fashion, restaurant, lifestyle and non profit clients.

Sarah helped create a national best-practices youth court for the city of San Diego and founded a public art program for teens. She is the founding features editor for The Women's International Perspective, the former President of the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles and currently serves on the board of directors for the Arroyo Sustainable Economies Organization. She developed a community supported micro loan program for small business owners and a Local Economy Incubator that fosters collaborative strategies for the Sharing Economy.

She lives in Santa Barbara, California on an avocado ranch with her husband and daughter.
